3D technology for concrete printing is developing fast, check out this video for an example of a house which was 3D printed in the Philippines within 100 hours. Once this technology will be more public accessible it will give architects many new ways to design 3D spaces!

At Mecanoo we are also researching the possibility to use 3D printed concrete for our project in Shenzhen. The local design institute CCDI is currently searching for ways to develop the projects curved concrete walls using 3D printing technology which is now used on several Chinese projects.
